We’re sorry to say that along with a number of events, the London Marathon has had to be postponed due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. It’s especially frustrating if you’ve been training hard or looking forward to your fundraising event.

We’re as gutted as you are that it won’t be able to go ahead just yet, but we want you to know that we’ll still be on hand to support you through your fundraising journey, so that even during this uncertain time, your super efforts won’t go to waste.

If you had signed up to this event, we’ll keep you posted over the coming weeks.

You can read more from the event organisers here.

With over 35,000 runners and more than one million spectators, the Virgin London Marathon on 4 October 2020 is one of the most prestigious running events in the world – and one not to be missed! Whether you are a seasoned club runner or just starting out, the Virgin London Marathon is a special event that is inclusive of all abilities.
