NHS Big Tea

Join us on Tuesday 5 July and thank our NHS heroes in the nation’s biggest tea break

The NHS Big Tea brings the nation together each year to give thanks to the NHS workforce, whilst raising funds to provide the extra support needed for staff, patients, families and volunteers.

For the NHS’s 74th birthday, on Tuesday 5 July, we want you to join us for a national outpouring of love, thanks and generosity by making time for tea – another national treasure!

You can raise a cuppa to our NHS heroes by popping the kettle on at home. Share a pot of tea with your colleagues. Take a flask outside with friends and family. Or rally the whole street with brews, biscuits and bunting.

Whatever you decide to do, get together with your friends and family and fundraise for us. All the money you raise will help us to continue doing more for our amazing staff as well as the women, babies and families in our hospital's care.

How To Get Involved

  • Host your own tea party or gathering

Get together with your friends and family, fundraise at your workplace, organise a virtual event or raise a cuppa of the nation’s favourite brew at your place of worship or sports club.

  • Take five, donate £5

Take five minutes out of your day to enjoy a tea break. Donate £5 and tag five friends on social media calling on them to do the same.

Sign Up To NHS Big Tea

If you'd like to put on a Big Tea, please complete our registration form to let us know you’ll be taking part and then download all the materials you need.

Once you’ve had your fill of tea and cake, pay in the money you’ve raised so all your hard work can start helping our staff and patients.

Can't join the party but would still like to say thank you? You can still pour out your thanks to our hospital by donating here.

It’s time to get this fundraising par-TEA started!
